Per park rules and safety, we have to implement cut off times for the Silver Falls Trail Races.
At the noted times for the 50K and Marathon, volunteers will close down the aid stations and sweeps will come thru removing course marking. Please realize that the cut off times are for the benefit of the many volunteers so that they are not out longer than what is reasonable and for the safety of participants. Please note that Silver Falls and especially the canyon trail can get dark early under the tree canopy and especially with rainy and cloudy conditions.
Walking the entire course not allowed in both the 50k and Marathon distances. Brisk walkers are allowed in the 5k, 7 miler and half marathon races.
