Directions and address to the park
From Eugene
Take I-5 north to Salem Hwy 22 exit 253 head east 5 miles and turn on Hwy 214 Silver Falls Hwy. Follow Hwy 214 for 16 miles to park entrance.
From Bend/Central Oregon
Take Hwy 22 west to Sublimity/Stayton exit #13 (Cascade Hwy) exit north and follow for 3.5 miles to Hwy 214. Follow signs to park.
From Portland
Take I-5 south to Woodburn exit #271 and follow signs to Hwy 214 into Silverton. Then from Silverton head out South Water St./Hwy 214 for 16 miles to South Falls Day Use Area.

Refund, Transfer & Defer Policies
We understand that plans change and circumstances happen, but entry fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred or deferred to another participant or the next year for any reason. The races sell out in advance and we have race limits each day that we cannot exceed.
Entry Limits
Silver Falls Trail Runs, Hosted by Run Wild Adventures, operates under a special use permit with Oregon Parks and Recreation Department. All distances are limited. These limits are put into place by the park and are used to limit trail congestion, parking availability and minimize the impact to the trails.
Parking
Silver Falls State Park has ample parking spaces available. However, close paved parking is on a first come first served basis only and the sooner you arrive the closer to the start/finish area you can park. Late arrivals may have to be directed to the overflow lots. All parking and day use fees are covered for participants and volunteers for race day only! Please proceed to the South Falls day use area and turn left at the stop sign, volunteers will direct you to the event area. Overflow parking will be to the right at the stop sign. Signs will be posted. *Please plan to arrive early and Carpooling is strongly encouraged!*

Cut Off Times
The Marathon and 50K events are make every attempt to run and finish the race in a timely manner (no walking the entire course please). Brisk walking allowed in the 5K, 7 Miler and Half Marathon distances with cut off times. Please see all the info here Cut Off Details
Results & Timing
Preliminary unofficial results will be posted during the event next to the finish line. Official results will be live streamed online during the event . Timing provided by Eclectic Edge Events featuring chip timing, announcing and individual result print outs for all days of racing! Participants must wear their assigned race bib # on the front and visible during the race and at the finish line.
Restrooms
There are several porta potties at the start/finish area as well as a large park restroom. All park restrooms are open as well… on course porta potty at north falls parking lot for all events and at the Smith Ck. Village aid station for the marathon and 50k.
Awards, Prizes & Raffle
Race day awards ceremony begins shortly after the finish of each event. Awards for the top 3 overall male and female finishers and top 3 in age groups for each event. Age groups are 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+. Lots of prizes raffled off from all our sponsors. Raffle prize winners will be drawn each morning and posted on the board under the big white tent near the main stage.
Photos
Professional photographers will once again be capturing all the action at this year’s event. Photos posted within a few days online.
Tech T-Shirts & Finisher Awards
Shirts will be technical moisture wicking material of either a 100% polyester or a 50/50 blend. Purchase online with registration.
Mens: Small, Medium, Large, XL & XXL
Womens: XS, Small, Medium, Large & XL
Shirts are available to purchase day of race for $25. (cash or card)
Sizes and quantities are limited. Shirts must be picked up in person at the event. We do not mail shirts.
Finisher Awards: Custom medals for all finishers Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
Proceeds
Proceeds from this event helps park maintenance, restoration, cleanup, trail building, bridge construction/repair, and also benefits drakes crossing rural fire dept & the friends of silver falls. Race organizers cover parking and day use fees for all participants and volunteers.
Race Day Rules
We are guests of silver falls state park and must follow all rules. Any violation of these rules will be grounds for disqualification from the race:
- No pets allowed. *Service Animals, please see PARK RULES regarding service animals at the park.
- Littering is strictly prohibited. (garbage cans provided at each aid station and the start/finish area)
- Runners must stay on designated trail at all times.
- Runners must be respectful of all volunteers, park staff and general park users.
- Absolutely no bandits! No bib number = no race! The park is open to anyone to run the course after the event is over.
- All participants must wear the assigned race bib number and make visible during the run and at the finish line. If we can’t see your race number you may not be listed in the results. Please do not run through the finish line more than once!
Pre Race Briefing
Will begin 5 minutes before each event at the starting line. Please plan to attend to get course info and any last-minute details.
Headphones/earbuds
Headphones and earbuds are allowed during the run. Please be aware of your surroundings and courteous to others while using them.
Pets
Sorry, pets are not allowed for this event. *Service Animals, please see PARK RULES regarding service animals at the park.
Weather
This race takes place in early November in Oregon, so be prepared for anything! Rain, wind, or maybe a touch of snow or ice is a possibility. So far every year it has rained and temps have been chilly! If you come prepared it will make a more enjoyable experience. We strongly recommend trail shoes, jacket, gloves, hat etc… there is a drop area located at aid station #1 at 3.3 miles into the race if you need to leave anything. This event will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather or acts of god beyond our control, we reserve the right to delay, postpone or cancel the event.
